Hello, I'm Joana
Senior Product Designer with 10+ years of experience and a background in multimedia and front end development. Originally from Portugal and now based in the Netherlands, I enjoy turning complex problems into simple, thoughtful digital experiences.
My multidisciplinary background allows me to bridge the gap between design and engineering, make informed decisions quickly, and build products with both user and technical perspectives in mind.
I value human connection, curiosity, and continuous growth. Whether collaborating with cross functional teams or mentoring junior designers, I strive to create an environment where people feel supported and empowered.
Outside of work, you'll find me exploring nature with my dog, staying active as a sports enthusiast, traveling, sketching, or enjoying meaningful conversations. Above all, I aspire to be a compassionate, open-minded, and approachable person, in design and in life.
